Arsenal Ladies
Posting this cos none of you know me, I’m massively proud and I don’t care if it splats or if abuse comes.

Tonight my 15 year old daughter made her debut for Arsenal U21s in a 4-0 friendly win against Chelsea and I am absolutely bursting with pride. She’s put so much effort into it, overcome a bad injury and today took the next step towards her dream.

Before anyone asks

What’s this got to do with football? You can debate the merits of the game but for the girls, definitely mine, it’s everything.

What’s this got to do with West Ham? She used to play for them and she’s had a season ticket at West Ham since she was 9.

I can’t stop beaming 😁

I don't pick on under age kids Vexed but you do.....so everyone will assume you to be the nonce.....a rapey one too it seems from your past postings, as you clearly dislike females the way you post about them on this forum constantly.

Re: Arsenal Ladies
That's great news. You must be over the moon. One of the girls I coached until she was about 11 switched between Chelsea and Arsenal a couple of times until U18s and was in England youth ranks - I see from Googling now that she's just left and signed for Charlton's first team. The best girl player I've ever seen in grassroots by a long way. So many foreign players in the top teams in the women's league that it's as hard to get in for girls as it is for boys to make it at the top of the Prem.

Re: Arsenal Ladies
That's tremendous LL, you should be proud! Arsenal are a top club too (in the women's game).

Can I have her autograph, so I can punt it on eBay in 20 years when she's a World Cup winner?

Congrats Long Lost- that's great.

Also she plays for one of the only 4 teams BT sport seem to think exists, judging from their coverage and promotion of the women's game, so she's set.

Good for you Long Lost, and rightly proud, it maybe the Arse but she will always be a hammer.

Keep on beaming..........

Yes Kenzo although I think it’s catching up here at least at the top level. She’d like to go to college in the US if possible too but for now she needs to focus on where she is and not get ahead of herself.

Tell your daughter to apply for a job at Sky. If Sue Smith can steal a living with them anyone can.

One advantage I can think of is that Jack Sullivan won't be in charge.

Also, look at league table. And the trophy cabinet.

Kelly SMITH

(one of the few ladies footballers I can name, along with Alex SCOTT, and Hope SOLO, but neither of those two I know from actually playing football)

Re: Arsenal Ladies
If she got through to the first team OTB then yes much better. Arsenal are very much a step up on West Ham in the ladies game.

Good for her and you, Long Lost - that's great. Well, I say great - I don't like women's football, children or Arsenal - but other than that ;)

Would going pro at Arsenal be better than going pro at WH? Genuine question.
